The Planter Box is made with choice, clear grain Western Red Cedar. This lightweight wood is excellent material for outdoor furniture. It contains oils that act as natural perservatives against rot and decay and is cool to the touch even on the hottest of days. Mortised wall panels offer additional strength and durability. The bottom is removable to accomodate larger plants.
